Relevant to Aus.tv due to some of these shows airing on
Australian TV and the ones that haven't aired there yet
might air there one day as you seem to get our TV shows up to
a year after they were cancelled here....no matter how bad
they were.

Show that air on Australian TV that have been officially cancelled:

Boomtown
L.A. Dragnet (formerly Dragnet)

Shows that MAY air on Australian TV that have been cancelled:

Coupling (NBC) - the bad beyond belief US version.
Cancelled after just 4 airings. Ten of the 13 episodes ordered
have been completed. Maybe all will be aired in Aus.....if
we want to punish you. Here it was the lead in to ER.
Dragged ER down to record demographic and viewer lows
for an original episode.

Skin (FOX) - Produced by action movie producer
Jerry Bruckheimer. A modern day Romeo & Juliet story. 2 teens
in love. He's the son of the District Attorney, she's the daughter
of a porn king. It is forbidden love, can their love survive?
Do you care? I guess people didn't. Cancelled after 3 episodes.

Luis (FOX) - Latino sitcom. Cancelled after 4 episodes.

Shows in danger of being cancelled, or really cancelled but
the network won't admit it:

Lyons Den (NBC) - Rob Lowe's new show.
Doing very poorly against "The Practice" even though
the ratings for "The Practice" are down from last year.
On hiatus for all of November.

Tarzan (WB) - Production has been shut down as the WB waits
to see how the remaining three episodes perform this month.
The show stars(?) that aussie supermodel guy Travis Fimmel.
Maybe he should stick with his day job. Standing around in his
underwear looking pretty seems to be much easier for him than
acting.

The Mullets (UPN) - Never base a show on a haircut.

Probably more relevant in about six months time....this is how far
Australia is behind in getting US programs (minimum) and there are
only 3 commercial tv channels to choose from here (pathetic and
abysmal)

The Free Trade Agreement will soon change all that

(and sell off all of the ABC to commercial interests)

;-)

The Mullets was the lowest-rated show for the week of
Oct. 13-19, coming it at No. 114. UPN says the show is just
on "hiatus".

Tru Calling (FOX) - Starring Eliza Dushku (Faith from Buffy).
Fox decided the best place to put this new show was up
against powerhouses "Survivor" and "Friends".
Not the smartest move. Still airing but maybe not for much
longer.

The Brotherhood of Poland, N.H. (CBS) - Someone at CBS
thought a drama about 3 ugly fat guys sitting around complaining
about their lives would attract viewers. Another show not officially
cancelled, just on "hiatus" even though production has stopped.
A David E. Kelley drama. He has as many misses as he does hits.

Becker (CBS) - Nearly canceled last spring, it has not received
a pick-up order past December. However, a network spokesperson
denied the sitcom's demise.

Never base a show on a _bad_ haircut. "The Skinheads" might have fared
better.
